about

Compelled by a lightning flash of inspiration (and reanimation), Lisa Frank-enstein brings you an interpretive score to the 1931 Universal Studios 'Frankenstein'.

Recorded live(r) during a stitch-jam at the Stone(d) Cellar Studio.

As we don't have rights to the film, you'll just have to sync up the film and score on your own. Starting immediately upon the film beginning, slightly into the opening monologue, or at the first title card seems to be the most effective. The textures and cues created are fluid and atmospheric, not tightly bound to the scenes, instead intending to accent the emotional weight of the story.

Separated (via digital bonesaw) into 2 halves, for Bandcamp's convenience, due to upload length requirements.
